Today i had a very nerve wrecking cooking experience...i never thought i can be soo nervous when it comes to cook...
Just to let you know...it is like a practise here that every Thursday after half day of working and after Friday prayer ...all of us will go out for eating...tak kisah la kat Ridan ke (tempat makan dalam dulang tu)...or Asian ke (thaifood) or some other places that they have mentioned but i never been, they always do without fail.
But since i came here and since they get to know that i can cook...walaupun tuk hanya beberapa dish aje...they have stop eating outside after Friday prayer...why? because they expect me to cook! Can u believe this? As if like cooking is part of my non-core business here! Duhh
First time i cooked, i prepared spaghetti kuah merah tu (org legal pernah rasa la)..and nasi goreng blackpaper..second week spaghetti goreng tuna dgn cili api (oshin pernah rasa) dgn baked beans ala ala kacang fool... and today..special request from amin...nasi lemak
The only thing about nasi lemak is ....leceh...dia tak macam masak spegetti everything goes in...nasi lemak u have to masak nasi...goreng telur...masak sambal lain...goreng ikan bilis...and soo on..korang mesti lagi taukan...akupun gatal nak buat sambal sendiri (tak nak guna cili boh)..so pegila Panda (hypermarket) beli barang barang dapur ...kali ni ahmad rizal sponsor...beli cili kering dan barang barang lain...termasuk la santan buatan malaysia...heheheh..bangga plak bila tgk produk buatan malaysia ada kat sini...satu tu dari batu pahat lagi.....
gigih ni rebus dulu buang biji..pastu blender cili dgn bawang merah and garlic...pastu masak nasi sampai 6 pot...sambil tumis sambal...goreng nugget...dgn telo mata...(semua masak serentak ni! Sbb nak kejar masa) nasib baik amin volunteer nak sponsor ikan bilis yang dah siap goring...bila lauk lauk ni dah nak siap and all the guests dah sampai...i just get to notice nasi tak masak....mentah ok... dia dah tak “cook” asik jadi “warm” je..aku dah gelabah..jam dah kul 1145..org dah datang...1230 nak sembahyang jumaat...mak aii apasal laa nasi ni jadi mentah...
Engineer ni semua buat conclusion periuk nasi tu takleh masak sampai 6 pot...lebih capacity katanya...boleh?? aku dah sukat air elok tadi..apasal tak jadi plak...pastu aku gamble...keluarkan nasi mentah tu..dan masak nasi baru ...kali ni 41/2 pot je...sukatan air..santan semua sama....ya Allah ...jgnla jadi macam tadi lagi...alhamdulillah...kali ni jadi...nasi tu elok je jadinya...wangilagi sebab aku letak halba, bawang merah sikit dgn halia.......memang le buat aku rasa nak pitam...cubala bayangkan..semua org dah dok tunggu kat luar tu..tapi nasi tak masak lagi...
Bila semua dah siap..tanya kat diaorg..ok ke...semua senyap ...kepedasan...tau tak pe...guna cili kering masak sendiri memangle pedas...hehehehe soh lagi org johor masak sambal tumis....heheheh... memang le power sambal tu (ahak puji diri sendiri nampak! poyyy)....Cuma tak puas hati diorg tak dapat nak tambah nasi...lepas ni en Nazri suggest masak dalam 2 periuk...bab bab sponsor ni semua org volunteer..Cuma nak masak je satu hal
Pastu terdengar la plak tadi diaorg nak makan nasi ayam...mak aiii...mana la aku reti...Pn Siti ...tolonggggg!!
